Your doctor or health care provider will probably want to see you about six weeks after you deliver to make sure you're recovering well - physically and emotionally. If you had a c-section, your doctor may ask to see you about two weeks after you deliver to make sure your incision is healing properly, and then again at six weeks.

Your baby is working feverishly at improving his or her grasp by latching onto anything and everything that he or she can get those little hands around. He or she will want to touch, hold, turn, shake, and mouth everything within reach. If one object isn't interesting enough, it's likely to be pitched in favor of another. To encourage your baby to make choices and practice crawling, try placing a toy just out of reach so he or she has to move to reach it.

Vitamin B Levels Higher In Premature Babies, Indicative Of Systemic Immaturity
  Levels of vitamin B, specifically vitamin B6, are found in higher levels in the cerebrospinal fluid of premature newborns than in full term newborns, indicating an immaturity of the enzymatic system, says a new study published in the July 2012 issue of the journal Pediatrics.

  New research suggests that chemicals called phthalates, which are found in the plastics that pacifiers and toys are typically made of, may be linked to higher rates of obesity in children.
